What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. When you sign in with email and password, we store your email and a hashed password. When you upload a meeting, we store the audio (or transcript) you provide, the generated transcript, and the structured analysis (summary, action items, decisions, open questions, blockers).
How we use it
We use the audio and transcript to run transcription (via AssemblyAI) and extraction (via Google Gemini). The results are stored in your account and shown back to you in the dashboard. We do not use your data to train any third-party AI models. We do not sell your data.
Third-party services
To run the app, we send data to: Google (sign-in, Gemini extraction), AssemblyAI (transcription), Cloudinary (audio storage), Upstash (background-job queue), and Neon (database). Each of these processes the data solely to provide the service you requested. We have data-processing agreements with each where required.
Storage and retention
Your data is stored in a Postgres database (Neon) and your audio in Cloudinary. We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can delete any meeting from the meeting page; deleting a meeting removes the audio, transcript, and analysis. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which removes all of your data.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Use the Settings page to export or delete your account, or email us at support@meetlog.app and we will action your request within 30 days.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords with bcrypt, sign session cookies with a server-side secret, and encrypt the Notion access token at rest with AES-256. No method of transmission over the internet, however, is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email.
